Namibia: Covering a coastline of 300 miles we will tailor an itinerary to suit your needs. Transport is by means of 4x4 Toyota Landcruisers as this is desert country. The fishing coastline starts from Sandwich Bay, south of Walvis Bay, and ends at the Skeleton Coast Park, Terrace Bay. Terrace Bay is open throughout the year and has bungalow accommodation. Keep in mind this is a very sought after area and bookings must be done well in advance as permits must be arranged to enter this area. Terrace Bay is a secluded area and only caters for 40 fisherman at a time, but has prime fishing with big cob and steenbras and plenty of sharks. Torra Bay is strictly camping and is situated in Skeleton Coast Park, but it is only open to the public 2 months a year, December and January. Species targeted are copper shark, average weight 100lbs, hound shark average 20lbs, spotted gully shark average 40lbs, cow sharks from 50lbs up to 150lbs.

Hotel accommodation is available or you could opt for a beautiful guesthouse at Hentiesbay. Other options are fully furnished houses for groups that want to do their own catering or fully catered houses including a chef and all meals for groups that want to be more relaxed. Camping trips are available along the coastline including tents, meals and bedding. This is for the more adventurous, outdoor type. Trips into the desert are also done on request and areas such as Cape Cross with it’s seal colony, the desert elephant and desert rhino are all trips that can be experienced.

 

Angola: Entering Angola at Ruacana or Oshikango we will take you on a scenic 4x4 route. After crossing the border into Angola at Ruacana we head North towards Otchijau and Cahama on sandy tracks. From Lugango we head West towards the coast and Namibe via the magnificent Leba pass. At the Flamingo River we turn West and drive in the dry riverbed towards Flamingo River lodge. From here we head South passing Tombua on route t Foz do Cunene where we will spent a night camping on the beach at Tigres Island. At Foz you will have the opportunity for some serios fishing. Leaving Foz crossing many dry riverbeds we will enter Iona via Espinhera. Your travels will take you through some of hte most beautiful areas you could experience to visit the statue of Christ on the Hill overlooking Lugango as well as Tindevalle. Fishing on the remote Angolan coast line offers an adrenalin rush you will never forget, 4x4 trips are self catering. Where you can enjoy fresh fish and oysters daily. Flamingo Camp is situated South of the Flamingo river on the beach and is 20 meters away from the coastline and offers a fishing experience second to none with garrick, shad and rock cod as well as many other fish species in abundance. Garrick in excess of 40lbs are not uncommon. Here the fishing is excellent on light tackle using artificial lures.

The remoteness that this beach offers will amaze you. If you think you have the power and stamina you could match it against the sharks and rays that this coast has to offer. Flamingo offers marlin, sailfish, tarpon and barracuda boat charters on he majestic Angolan Dawn that is a live on board charter boat of 16 meters, all meals, beverages and tackle is included, Flamingo camp offers five on suite luxury bungalows.

Rio Longa camp is built on the Longa river. The camp offers six luxurious on suite bungalows and is connected by wlk-ways. Fishing is mainly done at the river mouth but the Longa river is filled with Tarpon. The coastline offers big fish with the Cubbera snapper being one of the most sought after fishes swimming this coast, attaining wights of more than 100lbs. We will assist you in you fly in safari where you will be collected by 4x4 and taken to your destination. Angola offers different landing strips which are frequently flown by different charter companies Avisit to the remote Island Baios dos Tigres can be arranged by boat which was part of a fishing factory which has now turned into a ghost town and offers beautiful photographic opportunities.
